Tidbit Bistro - Mediterranean Tapas, Vegetarian and Vegan
Tidbit Bistro is a bit of Madrid and Napoli right on Capitol Hill. As a Certified Green Restaurant since 2008 they make an extra effort to support sustainability, such as preferring local and sustainable foods, being polystyrene free, providing 100% biodegradable take-home containers, and other measures listed on the back of their menu.
Aside from their regular menu with many vegetarian dishes, they also have a complete vegan menu including tapas, soups, salads, entrees, and deserts. Vegan tapas include rosemary scented sweet potato fries, artichoke heart skewers, and sauteed mushrooms. Entrees include rigatoni, capellini, and seasonal vegetables gratinéed and layered with tomato salsa. For desert try the chocolate, lemon or mango sorbet on a natural fruit shell.
