Don't compost those pumpkin guts just yet! Roasted pumpkin seeds are part of the fun in October.
Try our Pumpkin Seed recipe. You will need:
- Pumpkin seeds
- olive oil
- salt to taste
Optional Seasonings to taste:
- seasoning salt
- black pepper
- garlic powder
- garlic salt
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 300ยบ F.
- While it's O.K. to leave some strings and pulp on your seeds (it adds flavor), clean off any major chunks.
- Toss pumpkin seeds in a bowl with oil and seasonings of your choice.
- Spread pumpkin seeds in a single layer on an oiled baking sheet. (or spray with cooking spray).
- Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
