Makini Howell owner and chef of the successful Hillside Quickie vegan sandwich shop and cafe has now opened Plum Vegan Bistro on Capitol Hill. Afternoon coffee happy hour, vegan pastries, milkshakes, and smoothies. Crepes, Caribbean jerk burgers, smoked tofu panini, and sweet potato fries with aioli. And WiFi!
