Here are suggestions for four local pumpkin patches in the Seattle area:
Craven Farm
During the month of October, come visit Harvest Festival which boasts the title of "Snohomish's first pumpkin patch"! The Farm has delighted families for more than twenty-six years. Nursery rhyme scenes with a harvest twist dot the farm. A 15 acre corn maze offers a fun challenge to kids of all ages and 20 acres of pumpkins. Take a tractor pulled hay ride, visit the farm animals, browse our gift shops and sip an espresso. Don't forget to test your aim at the pumpkin slinger, have your face painted, and try fresh popped kettle corn or one of their other tasty treats available at the snack shack.
Stocker Farms & Festival Field
Stocker Farms is "Pumpkin Central" with acres and acres of pumpkins in all shapes and Sizes. Select your pumpkins from two sites on their farm: Farm Market — open daily with a traditional pumpkin patch and lawn area. Across Highway 9 from the Stocker farm market, the weekend festival field is located with a ten acre pumpkin patch. The festival field includes hay rides, corn crib, trout fishing, face painting, air-jumpers, human hamster wheels, pumpkin launching, craft booths and much more. Your little pumpkins under two years old are free. The corn maze is open both day and evening for family fun. If you are lucky you may be able to witness this beautiful experience yourself. The county store will be open for you to browse selling their famous sweet corn, hot cider, pickled veggies, BBQ sauce, and fruit butters.
